Difficulties with attention, mood, and impulsivity can often manifest in many psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, adjustment, trauma, and mood disorders. Dr. Edwards offers comprehensive evaluations for adult attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. We use a detailed interview, self-reports, collateral history, computer-based testing, and symptom tracking to determine whether an individual is affected by attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Our evidence-based treatments include cognitive behavioral therapy for Adult ADHD, executive functioning skills management, and medication management to target the symptoms of ADHD and create enduring change.
Adult-ADHD assessments include a diagnostic intake visit and 1 to 2 follow-up appointments before establishing a diagnosis. Treatment for Adult ADHD includes follow-up visits.
